Natural Chain Reaction
Not many people are aware of Mother Nature’s rule of chain reaction. Even in physics, it is said that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The source of the problem is the humans’ wasteful way of living. With the constant attempt to modernize everything to make their lives less complicated and a lot easier, humans tend to abuse the riches of nature such as the trees in the forest that are used to make furniture and paper, bodies of water that are used as a natural dump site for liquid chemicals, and earth formations that are destroyed by mining in order to gather valuable metals such as gold. These activities result to the fatality of other creatures that live in the same ecosystem. Another effect of these activities is the imbalance in the Earth’s natural cycles such as the oxygen cycle in the air, the nitrate cycle among the living and nonliving environment, and the water cycle that precipitates and condenses.
The next in the chain reaction are conditions that are easily and quickly felt such as flash floods, landslides, drought, famine and the spread of diseases.
