Business Analysis: An Overview
Business Analysis is a technique used to analyze all processes involved in any business; to determine cause and effect relationships and to create highly productive process methodologies is the main thrust of business analysis. Typical business analyst training modules are focused on data modeling as well has methods on how to build business models, define business requirements and to do analysis of IT projects.
The objectives of business systems analyst training include imparting the skills for understanding process modeling and data modeling techniques, principles, terminology and concepts. The training also provides adequate evaluation techniques through practical group exercises on model building and interpreting information that follows a structured analysis method. During training, trainees would get the chance to simulate the modeling processes they are given the opportunity to build the different business models and have their work critiqued.
