Safety Travel Tips for Women
Traveling is done to rest and unwind but sometimes there are unexpected events such as robbery and harassment that can happen especially to women who travels alone so here are some traveling safety tips that you can use.
When going to a place, study a map before going out and when you are on the streets avoid suing large maps so that you will not look like a tourist; use small pocket sizes maps instead. Trust your instincts and make smart choices. Do not act paranoid and uneasy in dealing with different situations. This will only make you look like a possible target for thefts. Walk and act confident, always keep your head up and confidently walk to your destination. It is also important to dress down and avoid wearing expensive jewelry that would easily catch the attention of thieves. When you need to ask for directions, approach a family with children and when walking in the sidewalk, wear your bags away from the side of the street.

When you feel like you are being followed, think smart and quick – ask for help immediately. Go to a place with several people and have someone call a police officer to deal with the situation. When eating in a restaurant, sit near to a family or group of people and avoid sitting in the corners. It is also important to split your money in small amount to avoid exposing all of your bills when paying.
Study the safety of the place before going there, of course you do not want burglars spoil your trip. So always be prepared and on the lookout for possible danger, it is always important to keep yourself safe when traveling.
